Mentor Chippewa: Empowering Youth Potential will expand school-based, one-on-one mentoring for youth in rural Chippewa County. The program will strengthen social-emotional skills, build resilience, and foster connections with caring adults to prevent school disengagement and future justice system involvement. Through culturally response practices, inclusive mentor training and strong school partnerships. Mentor Chippewa will ensure that all youth have access to consistent, supportive mentoring relationships.

Funds will be used by Mentor Chippewa, in partnership with local school districts and community organizations, to expand school-based, one-on-one mentoring for youth in rural Wisconsin. The project will support personnel, training, and resource development to enhance program reach, quality, and sustainability. This initiative will improve juvenile competence and mental well-being by providing consistent, caring relationships, building social-emotional skills, and reducing barriers to support. Youth in Chippewa, Stanley-Boyd, and New Auburn will benefit from accessible, prevention-focused mentoring that fosters resilience, academic engagement, and long-term success.
